RunKuwait by FSHN: Every Registration Helps a Child

admin August 9, 2026 News

Some children learn to walk a little later than others. Some have to learn it twice. And for a few, learning to walk at all depends on care their families simply can't afford.

That's why we run.

On November 14th, RunKuwait by FSHN returns, and behind every number pinned to a shirt and every kilometer logged is a single, simple purpose. Every registration helps fund rehabilitation treatment for children in need through the Fawzia AlSultan Physical Therapy Center, giving them the care they need to move, grow, and thrive.

The Reason Behind the Race

Physiotherapy can be the difference between a child who struggles and a child who flourishes. It's the patient, week-after-week work that helps a small body find its strength, the therapy that turns "can't" into "not yet" into "look at me now." But it's also expensive, and for many families, it sits just out of reach.

RunKuwait exists to close that gap. When you register, when you show up, when you run, you're doing more than covering a distance. You're funding sessions. You're buying time with a therapist. You're giving a child a fair shot at a milestone the rest of us take for granted.

Twenty Years of Showing Up

This year carries extra meaning: it marks 20 years of FSHN. Two decades of standing behind Kuwait's children, of turning care into progress, of believing that no child should be held back by circumstances they didn't choose. RunKuwait has become one of the clearest expressions of that mission, a day where the whole community comes together to carry it forward. Twenty years in, the work is far from finished, but the commitment is stronger than ever.

A Morning That Belongs to Everyone

Here's the beautiful part: helping doesn't have to be hard. RunKuwait is built for everyone, the serious runner chasing a time, the family walking together, the friends who signed up on a whim. You don't need to be fast. You don't need to be experienced. You just need to show up.

Because that's what makes this event special. It's 5,000 people discovering that doing good and having a great morning aren't two different things, they're the same thing. The cheering, the music, the shared sense of purpose along the route: it all adds up to a morning that feels less like a race and more like a community deciding, together, to show up for its kids.

Run for Someone Who Can't — Yet

Every runner has a reason. At RunKuwait, we hand you one at the start line: somewhere out there is a child working hard to take a step, and today, you're stepping for them.

That's a powerful thing to carry for a few kilometers. And when you cross that finish line, you'll know your effort didn't just end there, it went somewhere it was truly needed.
